Neither one of us ever set out to become photographers and neither one of us knew we would become so engaged with wedding photography, there's a long story behind how we both ended up becoming so passionate about wedding filming and photography, but i'll try to write a condensed version. Essentially I started off as an editor and as a production co-ordinator. I worked for small studios as well as non for profit organizations where I gained a lot of insight into the world of productions. There was so much to learn and everything was intriguing from the way people filmed to how they set up lights, the direction, co-ordination. I was a mass communications major and Sid is actually a professor of Electrical Engineer and Physics. He's the geek between us and like all guys, he is completely fascinated with technology. It didn't take too long for him to get lured into cinematography and I was sold on the idea of learning and venturing out into a new field of work. Neither one of us knew how to go about it, so I took up several freelancing gigs, back then it was way harder to connect with people. These were pre-facebook/twitter times, what takes a minute now would take days worth of socializing and networking before you could land yourself a gig, but we were both driven by something strong and eventually, we found a voice on this planet and we realized we wanted nothing more than to express our ideas, thoughts, inspirations creatively through the medium of film and stills. The journey for us has just begun. Mili & Sid Ghosh
