David & Nancy
Save The Date Video. We shot this video for David & Nancy from www.davidwittig.com (Both are excellent photographers based out of Chicago.) Sid and I adore them. There is also a lot in common between the four of us and since we have also worked together once, that's helped us connect more. For about two years or so, David and I have emailed each other about working on a project together. He is perhaps the only photographer in chicago who offers destination e-sessions in really exotic cities, so we thought we could collaborate on a bridal elegance shoot, and hopefully we will get to that soon but early this year.. we had an idea about shooting promo's for photographers. We thought it would be different and challenging, so I started throwing out ideas and after a few meet-ups we decided to do a promo with a behind the scenes during an e-session with dave/nancy and then also do a portrait video, that would sort if sketch their personalities and this clip could also be used as their 'save the date' video, since both are getting married next year on April 20th 2008 in Orvieto, Italy.
It's very exciting to be able to add a new feature into our wedding videos. Although, I have to admit these music video pieces generally are very time consuming especially if there is story/acting involved. I have to thank Nancy & Dave for all their hard work and input into the video. I hope we didn't drive them crazy with those re-takes.
